12/22/2003 Emergency Information Yolo County Office of Emergency Services
Yolo County Office of Emergency Services (OES) is a division of the Yolo County Communications Emergency Service Agency (YCCESA), a Joint Powers Agency created by the County of Yolo and the Cities of West Sacramento, Winters, and Woodland. The City of Davis later joined as a partial member. The major division of YCCESA is the Department of Communications (911 Dispatch).

In times of disaster or threatened disaster, OES opens the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) which serves to coordinate response activities county-wide. The EOC also collects information from the Cities and other local jurisdictions within the county for relay to the State. Similarly, the EOC forwards information from the State to the Cities and local jurisdictions.
