Yolo county ARES conducted our SET on Monday October 10, during our Monday night net. We asked those checking in that if there was an emergency tonight, would they be ready to operate and what could they bring.
Here are the results:
14 operators reported ready to operate
14 operators had HTs (VHF/UHF)
11 members reported having mobile/portable radios (VHF/UHF)
3 reported having generators
2 reported having HF stations they could deploy
2 members reported they could ride shot-gun or relieve operators
3 members reported having extra antennas and cables
2 members who checked in reporting having packet radio equipment
3 reported having base stations ready to operate (this is in addition to those members who use a portable as their base station now)
