Bill, K6BIL noted that he thought he was prepared for the Princess Promenade. When he got to his assignment, he found that his battery that had been trickle charging was only only 3.75V. Luckily he had a backup battery. Also, his radio malfunctioned. He was unable to program in any frequency. He was able to leave it in VFO, so it all worked out. But it was a good reminder to check your equiptment.
