The AMBER Ready Program protects families with children of all ages. The AMBER Ready Program enables parents to create, store and lock their children's Alert Profiles in parentís wireless phones. Should a child become missing, police can transmit the Alert Profile in minutes, instead of hours.

What is the Wireless AMBER Alerts Initiative?
The national Wireless AMBER Alerts Initiative is a voluntary partnership between the wireless industry, the United States Department of Justice, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), to distribute AMBER Alerts to wireless subscribers who opt in to receive the messages and are able to receive text messages on their wireless devices.
Install and run various portable applications from your portable USB device (flash/jump drive, mp3 player, portable hard drive, etc.). You can also install the PortableApps Suite and have access to several useful applications including OpenOffice (like Microsoft Office), Firefox (Web browser), Thunderbird (email), and much, much more. You can also add additional portable applications as you see necessary.
You never know, in the event of a disaster you may be stuck with a PC that has nothing installed.
