Announcements: Doug asked all Yolo ARES members to record their volunteer hours for July by tonight, as the monthly report will be submitted tomorrow, August 1. Bill, K6KN, announced that the second of four CW classes will be held Saturday, August 5, at Everman Park in Woodland. The class begins at 0900 hours. Bill also reminded members about the Yolo Amateur Radio Society (YARS) meeting being held on Tuesday, August 1 at the Explorit Center in Davis. Dinner begins at 1830 hours and the meeting begins at 1930 hours. Election of officers will also be held at the YARS meeting. Lastly, Ken, K6WLS, reminded all listeners about the FCC testing session being held on Saturday, August 12, from 0730 to 0930 hours. All testing elements will be offered.
