N6JOA: Report on VERT The UC DAvis Veterinary Emergency Response Team. the VERT team is assisting the folks from the Valley Fire in Lake and Napa county. They have been training fire departments around the state on how to deal with rescued animals. The Vet Tech are helping up there. Currently they have 20 cats that were recovered from burned out houses. they also had 2 pigs and a horse. The third year students at the Vet school have collected food and food for suppliers to help this effort.
