N6KLB, Rick: BARK will be installing a new analog/digital repeater within
the next couple of weeks. A complete presentation will be
given on the capabilities and any problems that have occurred.
This presentation will be given at the BARK quarterly meeting
on June 21, 2014, which is held at the Woodland Chapter House
of the American Red Cross. All BARK, YARS, and Yolo ARES
members are invited to attend.
KG6SJT, Greg: Sacramento OES, will be conducting a table top exercise Tuesday, Wednesday, and thursday. there is a possibility that as part of their exercise they make call up ARES groups. If this happens, and like the real world, we won't know if or when, We will send out an activation and find out who would be available to respond to their needs. They want a realistic count on numbers of operators would be available during a work day.
Again we don't know if they will call, but if they do, we will exercise our call out procedures. You will not need to leave home or do anything other than let us know.
