AEC KG6GNI announced that the Yolo ARES net will be moving to the BARK Repeater for our next net, August 27, 2007. The BARK Repeater is 146.970 MHz - PL 123.0
W6KJX announced that the monthly ARES meerting will be Tuesday, 8/21 at WAit Hall at 7 PM

KG6SJT: Talked to the repeater owner, Steve, W6KCS, before the net. He verified that the repeater will be shut down by the 31 of August.. He said use it while you can... it was a good 30 year run!
K6KN: there will be a major Boy Scout event at Beal AFB on September 29 - the same day as the emergency prepareness event in DAvis. They are looking for operators to pass messages.. He will be at the ARES meeting Tuesday 8/21/07 with more details
KF6HHH: Announced that he will be starting school and will not be able to check in for the next few months
